Turkey Meatballs


Ingredients:

• 1 pound ground turkey

• 1 white onion, chopped

• 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

• 1 egg

• 1 teaspoon dried basil

• 1 teaspoon dried oregano

• ¼ teaspoon allspice

• black pepper

• salt

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400F.

2. Combine all meatball ingredients in large bowl and mix well using your hands.

3. Make 1-2 inch meatballs (again, using your hands!) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

4. Bake for 10 minutes. Flip meatballs. Bake for another 10 minutes.

5. In a pot, add 2-3 cups of your favorite marinara sauce. Let simmer. Add meatballs and let simmer for another 10 minutes.

6. Serve over zucchini noodles, spaghetti squash or your favorite pasta noodle. Enjoy!
